Repairing the Storm Damage

On Monday morning a small crew went out to repair the storm damage up Canebrake Canyon. The worst damage was to Stafford Crossing. It was completely washed out.
 
As you can see, the road at Stafford's Crossing was out.
 
 
 
 
 
First some small stuff was smoothed out.
 
 
Next Ron scooped sand from the wash to fill the gap in the road.
 
 
Jerry was there making sure things did not go sideways.
 
 
 
 
Even with a front loader, there is plenty of hand work to be done.
 
Tom lined the pipe with rocks to protect the drain pipe,.
 
Bob came by to say, "Hi" to his buddy Darrel.
 
Jerry put the final touch on with a drag.
 
After Stafford's Crossing was repaired, the gang, less the photographer, repaired a few more trouble spots up the canyon. They then repaired to Tom's place to relax with a few well deserved beers. At Tom's a herd of Big Horn Sheep ....
